Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Ireland
- Master of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology (Distinction), London
General Dentist (Special interest in Endodontics)
Dr Michele qualified with honours at the National University of Ireland. She subsequently
obtained her Master of Clinical Dentistry with Distinction in her chosen field of
Endodontology from King’s College London, and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College
of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the same year. She is also a member of the Society of
Endodontists Singapore.
Dr Michele’s special interest is in Endodontics - a branch of dentistry concerned with
diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding structures. She is well versed in
the use of microscopic endodontic and microsurgical techniques to save teeth with infected
root canals, previously root canal treated teeth with persistent infections, and the
management of cracked teeth.
She also has an interest in the management of traumatic injuries to the teeth. During her
Endodontics Postgraduate Residency Training Program, Dr Michele was part of the team at
King’s College Hospital dental trauma service, one of London’s major trauma centres,
providing immediate emergency dental care, combined with long term follow up and
rehabilitation.
